People's Park Community Advisory Board is seeking members. The board reviews and makes recommendations on park policies, programs and improvements, and guides the implementation of the park's long-term plan. Current projects include a peace garden and the improvement of the children's play area. Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. Applications will be accepted until Sept. 30.
