The views expressed on the Daily Planet’s commentary page are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the paper or its staff. 

We prefer letters of no more than 400 words in length and commentary submissions ranging from 450 words to 800 words, though longer pieces are occasionally accepted.  

Letters and commentary should be addressed to the Planet’s editors and readers; we prefer not to publish pieces addressed to third parties, e.g. open letters to government officials, etc. We also prefer not to publish anonymous letters.
